In between soaking up the sunshine, you will be able to visit the spectacular Caledonia Falls, gaze the breath taking coastal views at Chrysochou Bay, take a tour of the modern brewery and winery in Limossol and marvel at the spectacular ruins in Kourion. You could also find out where the gladiators lived and the Temple of Apollo.
5. Norfolk, UK
This is what great British getaways are all about: stunning countryside, blissful tranquility and the stunning views on offer at Norfolk’s spectacular coastline. If your after more than tranquility this half term, you could get closer to nature with a trip to Penthorpe National park, marvel at the animals at Amazona Zoo or treat yourself to a day out at the Pettitts Adventure Park.

This destination would be ideal for families looking for a idyllic escape to the spectacular Italian countryside. Children, and families a like will have plenty to keep them occupied in the local area; from visiting the Zoo Safari in Fasano and exploring caves, to discovering the Gravina Sotteranea (underground city).
